In response to a question I received on using my wands for cord cutting:
The smudge wands that I create are used for cleansing and clearing all items, including your car, home, workspace. Food, learning materials, favorite outdoor spaces. You can also use it for you crystals, massage table and your aura. Since cords are held in your Aura, you could use them for cord cutting.
What are CORDS?
All contact creates connections of energy. These threads can become cords during longer relationships or strong emotional exchange . There can be both positive and negative effects of cords. These In essence, are cords of aura light which bind us to each other and events or situations in our lives . They develop on the upper layers of our auras when we form a relationship with another person, and stretch between like chakras – in other words from one person’s first chakra to the other person’s first chakra, and from one person’s
second chakra to the other’s second chakra, etc. Repair and nourishment of these cords can cause significant change not only to the person receiving the repair, but also to the other person tethered by that relationship cord. My kids have called it cosmic taffy because its sticky ,stretches and get everywhere. The Huna word is AKA the substance or energy or concept is of that material which connects us to each other it is how information and mana -chi travel. Anyway all contact whether in the physical or on another level involves the exchange of these threads , an ongoing relationship will build cords, energy and information is exchanged along these cords and connections. where the cords are locked in has a lot to do with the quality of the
relationship . Your Aka cords to and from your high and lower selves and spiritual sources are also how you receive information send prayers convey and receive healing .
Know the energy
When cutting cords, you must have an understanding of what the energy is between you and the other person that you want to severe. If you are not clear on your intentions, then you may be disappointed in the results. Remember also, that God only gives us opportunities to learn and grow, so, if the lesson you were given by the other person, was not learned, the energy will come around again. So, before you cut the cord, be sure you have grown from the situation.
Cords can be formed with all people you have contact with. Those that are secure in their own energy you will feel little or no effect from, however, there are those that are “energy vampires” that leave you absolutely drained after (and even in-between) every encounter. Then there are those people who are in your life that you had little control over…..mom, dad, siblings, grandparents. I hope that yours are loving, however, a lot of them can be toxic.
Prayers you can use:
For those quick daily encounters with the people in the line up at the bank or those sitting next to you at the restaurant, you can use a “quickie” prayer..
Dear (insert the names of those beings you work closest with ) Please cut all cords of illusion between me and those that touched my life today, all beings who have been thinking of me and all beings we have been thinking of and all the chakras involved.

While doing this, you can use your wand to snap the cords, fluff the aura, clear your grounding space and move out stagnant energies.
If, in doing the prayer, you mess up the words. Don’t be to hard on yourself, because as we all know, it is about intention.
If you have “big” issues you are dealing with and want to cut cords, you may want to consider finding a practitioner to help you. However, if you want to try for yourself, then here are some guidelines for you.
First, you should cleanse and clear your space and yourself. This allows stagnant energies to start moving out, so that you can feel and since what is going on easier.
Second, know what it is about your ties that you want to severe. An extreme example may be the guilt you feel over a sexually abusive relationship.
Next, ground, ground, ground. We all have techniques that work best for us. Use them!
Please start with a prayer of intent. An example would be:
Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael, St Germaine, Mother Mary, Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels, Love and Light beings, Father God, Mother Goddess cut the cords of illusion, cut the cords of attachment, cut any cords not of the highest good, across the lifetimes, time and space, between me and my family and our higher selves and anyone we have been thinking about, touched in any way, or healed (cord cut for) in any way and any cords that need to be cut for those beings (if you say beings it includes people, animals, fairies angels etc) for their highest good and any cords cut between us and any being who has thought of us, touched us in any way or healed or harmed us and any cords those beings all need cutting for their highest good, the cords for any being who has helped in any way and any cords they all need cutting for their highest good.
Start at the Root Chakra and use your wand (or visualize a pair of scissors) and cut any cords that are in this area. You should not have to “work hard” at cutting the cord. The cutting might be slow, but should not be difficult if you are ready to let it go. While cutting you can chant “Heal and transmute and energy to love and light“.
Work through the Chakras. There may not be cords in all your Chakras, but, it is a good idea to go through them anyways to cleanse and clear. Here is a list of what issues effect which chakras.
- The root chakra is to do with issues related to finances, career, home, physical safety, material needs, possessions.
- The sacral chakra is to do with cravings for physical pleasures, addictions and your body.
- The solar plexus chakra is to do with power and control.
- The heart chakra is to do with relationships, love people attachments, forgiveness and unforgiveness.
- The throat chakra is to do with speaking your truth, communication projects, asking for your needs to be met.
- The ear chakras are for divine communication, what you hear or have heard.
- The third eye chakra is to do with the future, the past, beliefs about spirit.
- Lastly the crown chakra is about God religion or spirituality and divine guidance and trusting for their highest good.
